It all started I guess when I had my son Tymothy Michael Hart on September the 15th, 2001 and yes four days after the tragic events unfolded on September the 11th, 2001. During that same year a friend of mine and his 10 month old baby boy was killed in a tragic car accident the only survivor was mother and wife during July the 4th weekend. I never knew her but just had some kind of connection with her and her family after the accident. I kept going to the gravesite making sure noone was messing with it. I left poems and little things on it in honor of Keith and Carson. I don't know why I was so compelled in going. I went practically everyday almost every weekend I guess to find answers why God would take two people so young like that. My Mom worked with Keith the father that was killed. I think she was more affected by the accident because of how closely she was to him. She went to the funeral and told me that they were buried together. She also told me that they died at the same time in the hospital. I'm glad I didn't go because those images would have haunted me for the rest of my life. I just can't imagine what Kristen the wife and mother went through losing two people right before her eyes so tragically like that. She only had a broken leg and brusied up really bad but I mean how can a person live on after seeing your child and husband torn between metal?.. I know I would have had a very hard time being a mother myself. I used to be a Firefighter/EMTB for the same county when the accident happened but I was pregnant then and didn't go which like I said I am glad I didn't because this just really hit too close to home. The accident occured about 5 miles where my parents live. To this day people are still talking about the accident and how tragic it was. We've had alot of accidents where young kids die but for a child this young was just too awful... God Bless and God Speed Keith Michael Ramsey November 21, 1982- July the 4th 2001............Carson Michael Ramsey August 5th 2000-July the 4th 2001....yes he missed his first birthday by almost a month and a day:-(
My Interest in EVP research
I will admit that I am a movie buffer!!... I didn't know about EVP until I watched the movie "White Noise". It intrigued me so that I HAD TO TRY IT... I was skeptic at first because I knew if I did get something I would be scared outta of my wits and plus I was like yeah only in the movies does this really happen. So I went to Radio Shack and bought me a cheap recorder a Clear-Voice Sony tape player and a couple of 30 minute tapes and went down to a local cemetary and tried it out. I felt kinda of stupid talking to what seemed to be myself until I got home. I only stayed at the cemetary for about thirty minutes because I was kinda of bored. So I live a couple of blocks from the church so it didn't take me long to get home. I was nervous and scared. I got some headphones and went from there. My very first EVP is on my EVP page the one that says "Come In." I was scared to the point that I didn't want to listen anymore. I put it away in my nightstand and didn't think anymore of it. I felt like I was stepping on God's territory. Well I collected my thoughts and talked to fellow Ghost Hunters online and just said the heck with it. I will go again and again to different places that I know of. I am fasicnated by the whole concept of talking to the dead. I still can't figure out how come you can't hear them while they are saying something?..I'm not a medium or have any kinds of powers well that I know of lol. When training your ears to listen you realllllllly have to have an opened mind about the whole thing otherwise I really don't think you will have any results. My fiance' doesn't know I do this but I'll guess he will know now:-).. I have a close friend who sometimes goes with me and I think I just about spooked him out:-).. But I think I have gotten him to listen. I would love to do more research where I live like to see if there is any haunted houses or National Historic Places I could get permission and go there and take some pictures and do EVP work. You see, I'm just a beginner in this field of Ghost Hunting. I'm an avid watcher of the tv show "Ghost Hunters". I had the pleasure of meeting Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson from TAPS during my first Paranormal Conference setup by The Center of Paranormal Investigations here in Richmond, Va. It was really cool because you got to sit through some of their classes and seminars they had. I had a really good time learning about Remote Viewing, Ghost photography and what kind of camera is best for it. And of course I certainly enjoyed Jason and Grant as they talked about their investigations and video evidence which was really awesome!!.
