Fiesta Del Sol Scholarship. For graduating H.S seniors and continuing college students. (ILLCF) Each year, the legislative memebers of the ILLCF nominate for foundation scholarships deserving young people of good character and high academic achievement. The scholarships are typically one-time grants of $2,000. The scholarship are presented at the Scholarship Banquet, a special event during the annual conference. http://illcf.org/scholarship.html United States Hispanic Leadership Institute (USHLI) The $1,000 scholarship is presented at the USHLI national conference held annually in Chicago. To qualify, the applicants must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time student in a four year institution and demostrate financial need. At least one parent must be Hispanic ancestry. Recipients must be able to attend the USHLI national conference. The number of scholarships awarded varies form year to year.
