The Problem for Humans:
There is always a trickster who brings out the bad of humans. Humans have to meet all requirements for maintaining a balance of forces necessary for life and survival. Failure to meet the requirements would bring bad.

The Solution for Humans:
Staying moral and following the ritual law of society is key in most tribes. As long as the people met their obligations, they would prosper. Most of the time solutions and messages came to humans in dreams.

Community and Ethics:
Individuals and communities shared responsibilities. All members of a community are expected to act accordingly.

An Interpretation of History:

Life moves in a circular motion. Reincarnation, being reborn again, is a popular belief. Everything reoccurs in time (i.e. seasons, weather, sunrise and set).

Rituals and Symbols:
The different rites of passage were important and celebrated in each group of people.

Life After Death:

Reincarnation is believed among many Native Amerians. The living and dead were separated, but ancestors were remembered and honored.

Relationship to Other Religions:
They usually just preserve their own religions.
