Absolutely amazing, enthralling, incredible... I thought this fic was excellent just from the prologue, and I'm pleased to say that my opinion on that hasn't changed a bit. Everyone's role so far just fits excellently; I can see them sliding into these roles flawlessly in this alternate universe.
The plot seems to be steadily building, and already it seems as though there are going to be several plot twists in the future. The writing is solid, the characters are pretty much perfect. I'm hoping that in the long run this will end up being a fic I can happily add to my favourites list. 

I never thought I’d see those words used to describe any of my stories. *blushes* It actually took a lot of thought to what “jobs” they’d have in this new world. Sanzo and Yaone’s were the hardest to think of by far, but I’m glad with where they are. ^^
There will be several plot twists planned, and that isn’t even counting the ones I’ll discover while writing. *grins* Those are often my favorite, and they usually end up being other people’s favorites too. ^^

o,o OOh. The only criticism I can think of comes in the form of advice a friend once gave me, paraphrased from Stephen King: For every line of dialogue, there should be at least two lines of description. In this case, I beg for more than that - the imagery you provide is stunning, and I'm greedy ^.^ This is crafted very well, and it appears you put a great deal of thought into this fiction before writing it, which is rather anomalous these days. (So says the girl who banged out the first five chapters of "Cornerstone" and then took a month hiatus because she decided she didn't like it ^.-)
Can't wait for the next update ^.^

Heh, I love descriptions with a passion, and I’m glad you enjoy them. Personally, I always felt that writing was like being a painter, with words acting like different colored paints. It is fun to paint with words. ^^

Wasn't expecting Chin Yisou to make an appearance, but am hoping that he'd be a lot more active; he can cause Hakkai a lot of angst, and I love Hakkai angst! 

I like Hakkai angst too. ^^ Chin Yisou is one of my favorite anime villains, and I was highly disappointed when he didn’t have that big of a role in the anime.

Hey, this is really cool. And it's an interesting concept.
I'm more curious about Goku's role, and I love the whole vampire thing. I've read a good deal of lore, so I want to see where you go from here.
Ha, I've read the same legends, which has to say something about Sanzo... 

I loved this story idea so much that there was no way that I *couldn’t* write it… (well that and the fact that my prereader helped push me to start it)
Goku’s role will start to become more defined very quickly. It just takes awhile sometimes to establish it.
*grins* I love vampire lore. It is fun to cut and paste with the legends you like the most. In reality, there are two types of vampires (you are familiar with this already from the story), which will be explained in length later.

chin yisou O.O man i hate him... yay! fun chapter. i loved the scene with sanzo! nice description ^^ him being bored with the weakling was funny. you got me really interested in the diet and what they are doing. and i really like the way that you're putting people in this that aren't normally in fics. it's cool to see them all. well done! *^^* 

I think that there are a ton of characters in Saiyuki that really should have deserved and/or deserve more screen time. There will be more of these characters coming up in chapters to come. ^^
I loved Sanzo’s part too. I’ll admit I’m a bit baised… especially the idea of a Vampire Sanzo in leather… but that’s besides the point. I was very happy with how that part came out. *grins*

I liked how you incorporate a comparison between the weaklings and keinkans using a fight scene, very cool. You've written Sanzo as one of those dark and mysterious guys that are okay underneath all their roughness. Just how we like them! 
All these characters are connected to eachother with relationships that are implied in the manga (ex: Hakkai and Yaone). I love how you keep things similar to the original, but put your own signiture touch to them that make them so cool and fun to read! *Chelsea bows to Becky* 

Girl, you know that’s how I like them. *evil grin* And I’m glad you enjoyed the fight scene - you know how much I struggle with them.

It's strange, but I could almost see some "1984" influences in this story. Have you ever read it? XD Another thing: I adore the various mixtures of vampire legend that you threw into the story. It keeps the story fresh and unique--very, very non-cliched. (Unlike my Yuugiou vamp fic... *prods it with a metal spork* >P)
In the end? Seriously can't wait for the next chapter. Just hope that I can help beta it. *glares darkly at the email servers* -_-;;

I’m glad you think that it isn’t cliché. I went into this fic knowing that vampire fics had been done to death, so I had to try to come up with stuff that *hasn’t* been done before. That in and of itself can be incredibly difficult. -_-;;

Another great chapter. We have seen Gojyo, Hakkai, and Sanzo now, so I'm hoping we will see Goku next chapter? And maybe a little Sanzo/Goku? This is just a wonderful story, it's so original! I love the idea of the boys as vampires and hunters. Keep it up!

Yep, you’ll see Goku! Not in his POV, but you’ll see him. No Sanzo/Goku yet – that will probably be in chapter 4. I’m sorry, but I can’t rush these things… otherwise my plot will fall apart. >< Do not worry, though, there SHALL be Sanzo/Goku as well as Goku/Sanzo… eventually. *nervous laugh*
