"SATURDAY MORNING EVIL"

It would appear that
Osama Bin-Ladin is still alive.  Yet again, we just can't kill this guy.  He's starting to seem more like a caricature of a villain than a very real and present danger to our country.  If I wrote a fictional story about an evil mastermind hiding out in a secret, underground lair, who set up successful attacks against civilians, but also evaded every attempt we make to kill him, I'd be chastised for writing such a bad story.  It's not like real-life is a Saturday morning cartoon where the same bad guy reappears each episode, only to escape at the episode's conclusion.  Or is it?

I keep expecting to turn in to the news and hear that we've captured two of Bin-Ladin's henchmen: Mohhammed al-Shareth
Skeletor and Jamal ibn-Starscream.  Is Bin-Ladin's friend, Ibrihim Salah-Doctor-Evil going to be captured soon?  Where the heck is Captain America when we need him?  If this entire scenario of terrorism wasn't so tragic and horrible, it would be humorous in its absurdity.  Apparently, I'm not the only one who feels this way.
