About 11,045,160 minutes ago, I wondered what life would be like with a sister. Would her newborn cries wake me up at night? Would she displace me as the cute child of the family? Would she be a good friend once she learned to talk? Would she be funny? Would she play video games with me? Would I like spending time with her? Would I be proud of her? Would I marvel over her accomplishments, starting with her ability to crawl along the kitchen floor and ending with whatever great accomplishment she's destined for? And, when we were both old, stinky, nasty grownups, would I still thank God for her?
Today -- the first day that we're both old, stinky, nasty grownups -- I can say in all honesty that the answer to all of those questions is 'Yes'.
