| How will I get through christmas? Everyone so happy on this special day. All I will think of is how you should be there Watching you son open his presents. How do I put on a happy face When I am hurting so deep inside? I am not ready for this I don't know how I can get through it. A child's christmas should be special But all I can think of is his daddy who won't be here. How very proud you were of your son, Of the hopes and dreams you had for him. Did you think of him as you drew your last breath? Did you know that you were going to die? If you knew what was going to happen Would you have looked after yourself better? I am left without my son. Connor is left without his daddy. He is young, he doesn't really understand But I understand what I don't have, MY SON |
