Coming Home (1945 The G.I.'s song)

Coming home is a song about "someone" coming home on a train after having been gone for very long. After we wrote this song we decided to add that wierd subtitle thing at the end, "1945 The G.I.'s song". I guess to give the song character or maybe just to make it sound like it was a much deeper song than it actually is. This song isn't about anyone in particular but how this song actually was created was after David wrote the guitar part he asked us, "What does this remind you of?" and we said, "coming home...maybe on a train".
Scott K. really helped us out on this song and graced us with a stellar piano solo which he recorded on the "Polygragh" cd. We debated whether we should add drums to this song or not, but in the end we left them out. During the second chorus of the song we added some talking in the backround to try and make it seem like we were on a train car. It doesn't really sound like a train car but it adds some depth to the only song on the cd without drums.
