Here's me at the rifle range shooting my friend's Garand. Shooting this bad boy was a welcome rest from shooting my mauser earlier. The mauser kicked so hard, I could only fire about 13 rounds, then I gave my bruised shoulder a break. Apparently it hurt more than usual because I was sitting down and my body was squared around it. If I was standing like I usually am when I shoot, there is less resistance or something and I can shoot for hours. Not here, though. |

This is my brother shooting his AR-15 at a target about 100 yards away. Even though the rifle looks totally sweet, it kept jamming, so it was also a lot of trouble. |

My brother finally got sick of his rifle jamming, so he took of one barrel and put on a shorter barrel that looks more like an M-16. He movied the target a little closer since he no longer had the high powered scope and fired away. |
