Educational background:

I attended the military high school "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" in Constanta from 1993 till 1997. In 1997 I signed up  for the Naval Academy "Mircea cel Batran" in the same city of Constanta where I graduated in 2002.

During the summer holydays I was embarked on different types of vessels where I improved my knowledge and practice of on board activities. I was embarked in 1999 on a Tug boat in port of Constanta where I learned the basics of berthing and departure maneuvers. In 2000 I was embarked on the General Cargo vessel Albatros, the property of Naval Academy "Mircea cel Batran" where I had the opportunity to learn more about the on board life and activities and about ship's structure and the safety measures needed to be taken on board. In 2001 I was embarked on a Bulk Carrier of 25000 dwt, where I could improve my previously learned knowledge and develop a sense of self confidence while working at sea.
