Welcome and have a browse around, all the images are compressed .jpg files to help with the download speed, but I still hope you brought some bandwidth....
Just click on an image below to see a collection of thumbnail images. Make sure your browser has graphics on or it will be a pretty boring visit and a true colour display works best....

As an experiment I've played around with a web camera, an old handycam, a video capture card and some freeware programs. Have a look out my window, or at my cat, or maybe even see me.... ( if you are really unlucky )

OK... have collected a few pics, enough to make a page anyway... here is the Current Archive and from Jan 16th a sequence of a stormy sunset that was pretty amazing

Check out the beaches A large selection of photo's I've taken of the beaches and surf breaks around the Taranaki, New Zealand area. Click here to see the map then select a beach to check out.

3D modellingWell everyone knows I'm a sci-fi nut, so no suprise what I'll try to render once I get my hands on some good 3D software. Some cool pictures, and soon links to other 3D sites.

LakeSome fun shots on me and friends being towed behind a boat and generally getting wet.

dawson.jpg (5237 bytes)Some pictures taken at Dawson Falls in the Egmont National Park and some nice shots of the mountain itself

4wdchamp.jpg (4859 bytes) A collection pictures from the National 4WD champs, see the guys get down and dirty in the bottomless swamp and on the unclimbable hill.

4wd.jpg (2429 bytes)For a more sedate type of off roading try this collection of pictures from my Dad's 4WD tour of the South Island. Some cool scenery here

Maui Oilfield A visit to the Maui oilfield, about 50 km off the South Taranaki coast. Definately more interesting than the normal day at the office!

Festival of Lights 98 The 97/98 Xmas light display at New Plymouth's Pukekura Park. Always worth a look! See also - last years display further down the page.

Nighttime For a change try taking pictures at night, puts a whole new light on things. A few shots here taken by moonlight or streetlights.

Helicopter The local rescue helicopter at work, well an exercise anyway. Practising surf rescue at a local beach.

Other pictures Some other photo's I've taken in the Taranaki area. All sorts of stuff, Mt Egmont, sunsets and fur seals at the moment.

Winter Take a trip up the Mountain on a cold midwinter day, this is July in New Zealand...

Festival of Lights Over the Xmas period the local council puts on a light show at Pukekura Park in central New Plymouth. Here's my views of it.
