Modern Art Green tomato sauce shimmers squeezy lines upon canvas once blanked. Mayonaise around the edges then mixed into modern piece of art. Contemporary slices of brown bread dip life into millions. Starving children now applaud with wild abandon while saliva falls.
Delicious Life God gave light into the world. God gave light into the world. Giving life a delicious smile. Giving life a delicious smile. God gave a delicious smile, light-giving life into the world. His breath roamed freedom. His breath roamed freedom. Made flesh alive from the clay. Made flesh alive from the clay. From freedom roamed the flesh, His breath made clay alive. He laughed love to stars. He laughed love to stars. Welcomed beautiful existence. Welcomed beautiful existence. He laughed existence to stars, beautiful love welcomed. Existence welcomed love, beautiful flesh made alive. Freedom roamed delicious life, giving a smile He gave the world. His breath laughed into the clay, from stars, light, to God.
Mystical How do you know when a poem is ready for its first breath? It's a mystical night, the sky unzips itself with calmness: of beauty. Could it be the stirrings that form in the back of thoughts? Needles of ecstasy pound on skin, soaking and weaving into the bones. Or the reaching for the pen to catch the flight? The sky has lifted up her skirt, the world watches in amazement. Maybe it's by the smile creasing your face when you first become aware of its presence. Always a friend, but hardly a killer. I've just heard a birthing, did you hear it?
