The walk will start at Brotherilkeld,Eskdale, NY212011.

The Northern Fells
I will go for this tough walk again because on the following day it will be Bank Holiday Day, so you can rest on Monday and be fresh ready for work on Tuesday. I hope this is ok for you.
It will be a 18 mile round. Starting from Latrigg car park about a mile from Keswick, we will walk up to Skiddaw summit 931m and along with other 5 summits if we can make it. Of course, depends on the weather.
Meet me at Latrigg car park at 7.45am and we should set off at 8am if we can. Some of you can stay B/B at Keswick or camping. Keswick has plenty of hotels.
Please let me know if you are coming with us as soon as possible.

Key to walking grades:
Easy - This is more of a social walk at
leisurely pace, with plenty of rest stops and gives time to enjoy the views and
scenery. It takes in field paths, moorland tracks and some hills.
Up to 8 miles.
Moderate - A walk as for EASY but offering
longer stretches of walking on more rugged terrain but taking into account of
weather and mountain conditions.
Up to 12 miles.
Strenuous - These walks combine the EASY and
MODERATE grades plus high mountain passes but require a good level of fitness
and experience. Time is given for rest and relaxation.
Up to 20 miles.
Hard and Challenging - This involves exposed
terrain scrambling and steep mountain walk/climbing. Good levels of fitness,
ability, stamina and endurance are essential. Rock-climbing/abseiling can be
included.
