Sunday 5th April 2008 - Great Gable
4 members including Ian Funnell, Ian Cochrane and Paul O'Donaghue went walking and the weather was very good. We walked 8 miles to Great Gable, Kirk and the famous Haystacks summits. We saw Nape's Needle near Great Gable. We were almost worn out when we returned to Slate Mine on Honister Pass road after the 8 hours walk.
