We have the pleasure of living just 15 miles, as the eagles fly (crows don't fly that high) from Mt. Rainier. On a few days each year, we also have the rare pleasure of SEEING Mt. Rainier! An expression around here, (not a common expression over all, as it's said only on clear days), is 'Look! The mountain is out!' As if this huge dormant volcano plays hide and seek or runs from its shadow like a groundhog.
One of my favorite activities is trying to get the perfect shot of the mountain. I hope you'll enjoy viewing some of my efforts. I recently got a new camera, so perhaps I'll be able to add to this soon.
