| I spent a September weekend in the Fitzpatrick household of Navan with flatmate, Marla. Here I met Mary (host-mom), Stephen the bouncer (long story), & Scooby (left), along with several cows. Although I was overfed and stupified by my Mary's rapid speed dialect & will probably never venture there again, Navan was a cute and almost wholesome experience. |

| My flatmates, Marla & Margaret, and I went to Galway for a weekend. On Saturday we went for a day trip and road bikes around the biggest of the three Aran Islands, Inismore. It was beautiful beyond words. Galway was also a teeming city full of night-life and character. I will remember & hopefully return to the Quay's Pub where the singer looked identical to George Clooney. Who knows, it might have been him... I'll also remember my first of several bonding experiencewith Abrakebabra, which is a really cool place (lest we forget). |
