The second round was the end for us, but we didn�t go down without a fight. We were playing Salesian, a team that was ranked second; however, they had the best line in the league consisting of the leading scorer known as number 11 and two other kids that were unbelievable. We opened the first game in Mt. Vernon with a huge upset, beating the team in a shoot-out, on the game-winning goal by Rob Howley; however, after winning the first game, we were beating by Salesian in the next two games ending our season. In the second game in Rye Playland, we felt we had the game won, but due to poor officiating calling us for roughly 35 penalty minutes and we only lost the game by one goal. ALL OF SALESIANS GOALS GAME ON THE POWER PLAY and we lost 4-3. We were devastated and we couldn�t recover in game 3. Salesian, being such an offensive powerhouse, came out in game 3 wanting it more then us, they put three quick goals up and we couldn�t recover, loosing the game, 8-3.

     Now with the return of the majority of the team, were ready to go this year and we all have high expectations. This year there�s going to be different, there�s a different atmosphere, we just have to wait and see what happens.
