What these men,woman and child accomplished epitomises the same struggles we as americans founded our great country upon. Their courage, ingenuity, and faith should have been rewarded. I see nine untapped potentials for positively contributing citizens. Hopeful souls in search of that which most take for granted as the American Dream.Imagine the thoughts of these individuals as they planned their departure; their commitment as they spent 13 hours in and on a converted old Chevy truck. I don't forsee them as foreigners looking for a handout, just a chance. Not to be a few more Cuban nationals in Florida, but to become Americans.
The problem with so many immigrants is no matter how long they're here, they remain aliens. They get their WIC coupons sit in their Section Eight housing with free health and bi-lingual schooling that they don't pay taxes for. On top of that Gray Davis is signing a bill which enables illegals to get drivers licenses, which is the next step to getting voting privileges so they can vote in candidates in favor of illegal immigrants like Crrrruz Bustamonte. Bustamonte incidentally would just as soon make California a northern part of Mexico. Vive la Raza!
Wrong! The phrase is GOD Bless America! One nation under God. In God we trust. God shed His grace on thee, and crown Thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea. If you can't commit to this nation and pledge you allegance to her, then get out!
Get rid of bilingual education, it only harms the child.

Teach abstinence not "safe sex". Safe sex is a lie.
Gay is a bad decision someone made not a genetic trait. God said it's a sin. No one should teach a grade school child that homosexuality is normal. They shouldn't be discussing sex at all; much less perversion.
God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. The institution of marriage and all the rights that go with it belong to one man and one woman joined in holy bonds. It's not some gay or lesbian signing an agreement with the flavor of the month so they can get health care from their employer.
A gay "couple" should not be allowed to adopt. Again, a child should not be subjected to perverse behavior and told that it is normal.
If God made you a man or a woman, stay that way.
Indian gaming is a vice perpetrated by only a few indians and Vegas, and the rest live in squalor, with little ambition to amount to anything. Give each indian family a deed to a piece of land, then tell them to get a job so they can eat.
