This is Suzy Blue, born Katherine Anne Sprawka in Chicago, Illinois 1986. Her versitle vocalistic abilities give her a unique sound. She has a 5 octave range, and a soulful voice that doesn't seem to fit her 5'2 dainty appearance. She gets her inspiration from an eclectic group of musicians such as Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Joni Mitchell, Sublime, Bob Marely, Peter Tosh, Lauryn Hill, Jackie Greene, Nora Jones, Whitney Housten, Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Shakira, and Ben Harper. In fact, Ben Harper's song "Suzie Blue" is where she found her name. She heard the song and felt as if it was describing the point she was at in her life, and it stuck. Suzy is currently working on writing her own album. She has a demo out with capitol imaging group in Pheonix, Arizona. Her demo is currently out in the record label's hands, however none of her original songs are on it. Suzy plans on attending Berklee College of Music in Boston where she will study her craft and hopes to explore many other feilds of music.
