| Spell-casting is, first and foremost, a craft and thus no magick should ever be taken lightly, especially in the area of love and relationships. It sometimes just is not worth the risk. Many times, spells that are cast to bring about love of some sort are manipulative spells, that is, these spells are meant to help love bloom in the heart of a particular person regardless of how that person may feel towards the caster. In Wicca and most other modern forms of witchcraft it is believed that the spell that manipulates another also puts the caster in danger of the effects of bad karma. In other words if you are using manipulation, not only will the spell not work in many cases, the effects may in fact be just the opposite of what you were hoping for... |
