Deltan Military Tactics

The Deltan Rank
The ranking system used by Matharans was the most advanced and refined one ever in existence. Those used in both the armies and navies were the most defined. Even from the reign of the Imperials into its breakup, it was highly organized.
Within the Deltan Army, the standard miliary groupings are as follows:

GroupSoldiers
Squad5
Platoon20
Company100
Battalion500
Regiment2000
Brigade10000
Division50000
Corp200000
Army1000000

This method of standardization allowed workings to remain roughly the same, for one, that it did not give one general 200000 men and another 350000.
The ranks are as follows for the Deltan Army:

EnlistedOfficers
Private third classLieutenant third class
Private second classLieutenant second class
Private first classLieutenant first class
Lance CorporalCaptain

Sergeant third classLieutenant Colonel
Sergeant second classColonel
Sergeant first class Brigadier General

The Navy of the Deltans was even more evolved than its Army, of which it took the Imperial's Army divisions. It is unlike the army in the fact that admirals do not carry standardization to the army extent.

There are also two other ranks of honorary position, the War Admiral and Deltan Honorary Admiral. The War Admiral places votes within the Deltan High Navy Council during tactical need. The Honorary Admiral is allowed a count, but gets a special command in the norm. The High Navy Council votes on the benefit of some counts, but also gives input for the Grand Admiral.
