I just give enough rope for people to hang themselves.

I like The Line's posts, or at least when he first came here...

Heavens to Betsy, whom ever shall we get to lead the Red_Quacker search and rescue party.......

Oh never mind, there must be at least a dozen other obsessed newbies to lead that particular charge.

So did I. He was a completely different person for his first few days of posting. Then he started reading Red Quacker's posts and he acted like he just snapped. I hope the ban gives him a chance to cool off.

Is this the first time 2 people have been banned in such close proximity?

I guess you might ban 2 on the same day for comments in the same thread. But 2 distinct people, 2 days apart?

This BBS has gone mad recently.

A shame, I missed out on all of the fun. What did our friend The Line do to earn three warnings so fast?

I missed 'em too, but my guess is The Line was bitching 'bout the evil mods again. The Line may step across himself a bit much, but its way more entertaining than most of the spam threads that rarely provoke warnings (and seem to never provoke warnings in the junior officers lounge).

The Lounges are too cumbersome for the admins to check in too often. Being a non-spammer myself, I have nothing to fear from a friendly little audit.

Chance that an American would rather be mugged than audited: 1 in 2. Source: The Harper's Index Book.

I choose the former.

Definitely. People rarely get killed in a mugging. People in an audit lose a lot more money and sometimes go to prison.
