There now as I was saying...everyone has different types and kinds of voices talking to them all the time. Some of them sound like you, some of them feel different, some are you only there is a special kind of feeling that goes with them. A lot of people have what they call their consciouns, others like a little devil that taunts them to do things on their shoulder.
There are outside voices that feel like they are coming from outside of you and then there are those that are the archetypal parts of yourself. And it simply takes time discerning which is what. There is simply no way around it. The other requirement is the absence of judgement. It's a very buddhist sort of look on thoughts. Ther is no right, no wrong, no crazy, no truth, no lie, it's just a curious thought.
"Isn't that interesting?"... then file away , make mental note, whatever of things like what you were feeling at the time, what the thought sounded like, did it have a tone of voice or accent or particular use of vocabulary, etc. Eventually you can get a hold of who is talking.
In being open to those conversations in side yourself and those coming from the universe you can learn some pretty cool stuff.
