| Well I had this amazing revelation. My mom called herself a weather witch when I was a kid. She was still also Catholic, but called herself that. So why can't I be a witch and Christian too!? So I am. I am a Willworker. I am a MAGE. As I will it so mote it be! And it is... White Wolf and their role playing games fits best my paradime for what a Mage is. They are AWAKENED!!! This is to explain what I mean when I say I am a Mage/Witch/One of the Awakened. In The World of Darkness, by White Wolf, Mages are those humans who realize that reality can be affected by their will. In essence they are no longer a Victim of the Universe, they become a co-creator of it. Consensual reality though has to be fought in order to bring about the magick. Magick, because people collectively don't believe in it as much, has to be more coincidental. Then there are mages that do what is called Vulgar magick. It's flashy and showy and MUCH harder to believe in. Flying in front of crowds, starting fireballs in your hand and throwing them, etc.. Most of what I do is the coincidental stuff. MOST...lol. Warning! This is Just My Opinion!: But here is the distilled Version of my point. The Awakened is NOT a Victim of the Universe. They work in conjunction with it. I know FAR too many people who are Pagans and witches who are still victims. Believeing in the true magick within means utimately that whatever happens to you, you are the one who helped to create it. As I will it, it is. There is a reason for everything. I just don't always know what that reason is... Everyone has their limitations.... that is mine. Namaste' (which means I acknowledge the divine in you) Manea P.S. Which are you?
