| I met Eris at StarCon, 2 years ago.(Spring of 2000) It was a very sort of magickal and awesome. I accidentaly went to her table in the lobby and asking for something to tie a scroll with. It was a poem I had written for a man at the front desk who was having a horrible time at home and it was affecting his work. I was very inspired to write it in calligraphy and showed Eris, in exchange for the ribbon she gave me to tie it. It was full of Godincidence and the begining of a cool spiritual relationship between us. I have only ever seen her at Con. I also found out that she was a part of some thing called the Order of the Grey.Turns out later that she wasn't just a part of it, she founded it. I looked it up and found something that I have always been. A follower of the Force itself. Here is the tenet I read that struck a chord with me. To a Grey Jedi, the Republic, and the Jedi Council, are secondary to serving the Force. The emblem you see was created by Eris, or Master Eris as she is called by her fellow Jedi. I am going to get a tatoo of it with her hopefully this year to help me to look for where the Force is guiding me in each moment. Thank you Eris... Manea |
