"Be Ye Kind One To Another" began as a way of "retemorizing" (Mixture of 'Retaining" and "Memorizing") different scriptures before the Way Ministry class, "Defeating The Adversary", began. They gave us cards with different scriptures written on them and we would learn them. Two of the cards included the six verses that were used in this song. While I was on those two cards, I brought my guitar out and tried to sing the verses out, in order to learn them. I thought it sounded great, so I decided to record it for this album also. Maybe, if you are taking this class, you can bring this album out when you get to those two cards and it could help you out like it helped me!
"Have No Fear, I Am Here" is a tender song, sung from God's point of view. It is very much like a word of prophecy; so much so that I don't really claim it as my song since it flowed so easily as I was writing it. It speaks tenderly to God's children, exhorting them not to fear the evils of the world, because God will take care and protect his beloved children. I found the verse spoken at the beginning of the song (Isaiah 41:10) after I had penned down this song. It was such a beautiful and powerful verse and it worked so well with the song that I had to fit it in at the beginning.
