Matters of Conviction
by IamBoris
The Sliders arrive in a world where spirituality and religion have been banned in America for three hundred years, the result of social fallout over the Salem Witch Trials.

Logan inadvertently causes trouble when, while arguing with the Professor, she exclaims, Oh, for Gods sake!  She is overheard by some locals and the police arrive to arrest her.

Rembrandt and the Professor must struggle to defend Logan from persecution, and in doing so Arturo finds himself in the unfamiliar position of
defending faith.

Logan is touched by how much trouble her friends go through to free her in spite of her recent treachery (in And Everything to Gain); she realizes just what good friends she has made in these two men and what she almost gave up in her blind desire for material wealth.
