The Dream
One night when I was a college sophomore, I had a dream where I was in the back yard of my best friend (don't give up the basketball, Curly) and we noticed a large rock in the yard. We tried to lift the rock but could not; we even tried moving it with a truck, but to no avail. After some time, we gave up and started playing some basketball. A couple of hours went by and the rock rolled over by itself unveiling a large, seemingly endless, hole. Out of the hole came smoke and the smoke turned into scorpion-like creatures (like the ones spoken of in Revelation 9:5). Immediately after the creatures ventured forth, I was propelled under the garage of my second best friend who got me into studying the scriptures (thanks and blessings, Paul). While under the garage, I noticed a man in white and His face was obscured. He seemed to be judging people, so I immediately assumed that this man was Jesus Christ and today was judgment day. One person would come up to Him and He would point His divine thumb upward, denoting salvation; another would come and He would point His thumb downward, and I felt sorry for those people. Then I came up. I had lived a good life, studying and spreading the Word to others; oh, I know that I slipped a little after puperty, and I had not opened the Word for some time, but I still believed. Yes, I was sure His thumb would point straight to Heaven and I will finally meet all the prophets and know all the secrets of the cosmos. His thumb starting going up......slowly? Why slowly? Well, that didn't matter, so long as it was up and not down. But then, His thumb started turning ever so slowly towards the Earth. I became so terrified that I woke up. I got the message Lord; I was on the path and I strayed. That day, I asked my Mom if I could go to church with her, and I have been an advocate for the Lord Jesus Christ ever since.
You never know when the time will come. Be ready now because "He will come like a thief in the night". I am blessed, the Lord warned me; I had lost my way (or better yet, His Way) and the path I was going down would lead to destruction. Hopefully, many of you will read this and it will be a warning to you, before you are under your best friends garage.

We all know the story and we all have suffered with the families. Throughout recent history, nothing has come close to matching the shear horror of the Columbine High School massacre. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold were the instruments of satan, targeting Christians and minorities. But this is only the beginning. Until America wakes up and realizes that it must return to its roots, the roots of Christianity, tragedies like Littleton, CO will continue. The answers are clear: parents must be allowed to chastise their children in the manner they feel is appropriate; instead of gun-control, try self-control; put God back in your life and in the schools; instead of getting high on alcohol and drugs, get high on the Lord: pray, pray, and pray. We live in a country inundated with sin and wonder why this is happening to the greatest nation in the world. Wake up America, Christ is knocking!!! Complacency has been at the heart of this country for decades. We feel that no other country could possibly match the might of the United States; and we would be right, no country can. But "any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall (Luke 11:17)". Homosexual marriages, X-rated movies, the Ku Klux Klan, Neo-natzis, the church of satan, etc.... We are acting just like the Hebrews of old!!! Let the other countries live their lives of heinous debauchery and lasciviousness; don't try to be like them!!! This is the problem Israel of old had: God saved them, they turned against Him, God allowed destruction on them, they cried out to Him, God saved them, they turned against Him, God allowed destruction on them, they cried out to Him, God saved them, etc.... It's happening all over again. Until we agree that Jesus Christ is the "the Way, the Truth and the Life", destruction will rain upon us like Sodom and Gamorrah.
