Kaitou Jeanne is the modern day Joan of Arc, and is a thief. She steals pieces of artwork that are beautiful or considered as beautiful (ie. a lil girl's artwork of her family). Although other people don't know it, each of the beautiful artworks has a demon hiding inside. Any mortal who admires the artwork currently housing a demon is possessed by that demon. Jeanne doesn't necessary "steal" the artwork, but seals the demons w/in them, resulting in the disappearance of objects. She doesn't like Kaitou Sindbad cuz she thinks that he's working for the devil.
