| Adam Zivojnovich's Halo bio Last Update: October 19th, 2004 Current gamertag: Dckin MCloud Former gamertags: (Newest to oldest) Control settings: Default Button settings: Green Thumb Look Sensitivity: 8/10 Favorite Weapons: Pistol/Plasma Auto-rifle/Sniper Rifle Favored Killing styles: A) Drain shields with plasma Auto-Rifle then finish with a melee at close rangle, or a pistol (or another weapon with solid rounds) at medium. B) Pistol or sniper rifle at Medium to long range C) Shotgun at point blank N00Bs I've PWNd*: Rivals**: (Alphabetical) Pros/Cons/Tips for all Halo Weapons Pistol Pros: excellent accuracy, x2 zoom Cons: small magazine size, getting hit takes you out of zoom Tips: Unlike most.... er, really all other FPS' the Pistol is actually a good weapon in halo, don't be too hasty to get rid of it, it's the only other weapon besides the sniper rifle that is worth a shit at long range, and coems with much more ammo and less down-time Assualt Rifle Pros: large magazine size, quick melee Cons: useless at medium-long range Tips: only effective at close range Sniper Rifle Pros: X2 and x10 zoom, dead-on accurate Cons: ussually takes 2 shots to kill someone with shields; the huge trail/noise from the rifle blows your cover after 1 shot, long reload, getting hit takes you out of zoom, small magazine size (4 rounds) Tips: don't spent too much time in the same spot in your scope, watch your back or you'll get meleed Rocket Launcher (AKA: The SPNKr) Pros: 1-hit kills (mostly), splash damage for multiple kills Cons: have to reload every 2 rockets, long reload time, rockets take forever to get anywhere at long range. Tips: unless your target it completly immobile, or stupid, using rockets at long range is useless. Don't fire directly at your target, fire at the ground below them, jumping and firing down at your target is effective. This method is much harder for your opponent to dodge. Plasma Pistol Pros: Shield Drain, Overcharge shot will drain all shields and is (slightly) homing. Cons: The weakest melee attack in the game (you don't even use the gun, you just punch them, lol) Tips: This gun should only be used if the plasma auto-rifle is unavailable, use it to drain the shields then melee or switch to somethign with solid rounds to finish them off Plasma Auto-Rifle Pros: Shots slow down your opponent, Shield Drain Cons: Overheats Tips: In my opinion the most effective gun in the game, run around them as you shoot (since the shots slow down there movement/turning speed) shoot them until there shields are gone then easily finish them off with a melee from your autorifle or a couple solid rounds. Needler: Pros: looks pretty, embarreses the people you kill, Slightly homing, powerful melee attack Cons: The needles move slow as hell and are easily side-stepped, it has limited range, the needles give away your position. Needles disappear if your target teleports. Needles will not home in on cloaked players Tips: Use the needler to track down your opponents; the Needler will home in on your opponents even if you can't see them, fire a couple needles if you can't find your opponant, if they are somewhere infront of you the needles will head straight for them (even if they are behind an object) Frag vs. Plasma Grenades Frag Grenades Advantages: stealth- it's harder to see where these grenades are coming from shorter fuse- less delay makign them harder to dodge/run from keeps bouncing- for when you need the extra distance Plasma Grenades Advantages: Vehicles- The best weapon against vehicles (except maybe the SPNKr) , they will stick to them and ussually kill at least one person in it. Tag!- if you can manage to stick a plasma grenade onto another player, it's almost always certin death, just make sure they don't start chasing after you with it on them! Sticks to any surface- bounces once (off terrain; sticks immediatly to people or vehicles) then sticks to anything. <<<Return to the Main Page |
