| To date, there has only been one official It Ain't Half Hot Mum book. This was the annual published by Stafford Pemberton Publishing (Thurlow/Beldart) in 1976 ISBN 0 86030 011 0 original price �1.20 It contained a mixture of text and cartoon stories, as well as features on "The British in India", "Animals of India ", "The People of India" and "Elephant Hunt". It also featured a double page game called "Jungle Jitters" TEXT STORIES "Where's that Tiger?" | The book was fully authorised by the BBC, but the quality of the artwook, and the content of the stories does not match the series in any way. There is no indication within the book as to who the authors or the artists were, and on the whole this matches other annuals produced at the same time (for other TV programmes) in as much as they had no input from the original writers, and the story content had little to do the series itself. |
