Individual Players Will be Teamed at
Time of Registration
On a selected par 5 hole, during tournament play, a single club must be chosen and used for all shots by all golfers of of that team for that hole. For example, if a team selects a 7 iron, only a 7 iron may be used by all golfers for all shots on the selected hole. In addition to the selected club, team members may use a putter.
Opposite Handed Drive Hole
On a selected hole during tournament play all golfers of a team will be required to use a driver of opposite hand. Right handed golfers will be required to drive their ball off the tee with a provided left handed driver. Left handed golfers will be required to drive their ball off the tee with a provided right handed club.
Long Drive Contest
On 2 selected holes the golfer that drives his/her ball the farthest from the tee, on each selected hole, will be awarded a tournament prize. Driven golf balls must come to rest in the fairway to be counted in the contest.
Mulligan Purchase
On two selected par 3 holes there will be the opportunity to purchase a mulligan for drives on the hole by the team. Mulligans will cost $10 per team and will alow to players to make an additional shot on the hole.
Closest To The Pin
On 2 selected par 3 holes the golfer with the closest shot to the pin for each hole will be awarded a prize.
Putting Contest
At 7:30am, prior to tournament commencement, there will be a 9 hole putting contest on the practice green for a prize. The person that makes the most number of putts during the competition wins. Entry into the contest $5 with the winner being awarded a prize. In the event of a tie, there will be a sudden death putt off in which the first golfer to make a putt wins the contest.
