Our Expanding Mission

When we started this site, our mission was to promote and support democracy and social justice in Iran.

Since September 11, however, the people of the Middle East have been faced with an elaborate US plan to invade and re-colonize their region and take over the oil resources. Over 3000 Americans were sacrificed at the altar of capitalism to make such an invasion possible.

In addition, in the US, the immigrant communities of Middle Eastern origin are facing a brutal act of ethnic cleansing through directives from the Bush regime. The Immigration and Naturalization Service (remember the Exclusion Act against the Chinese immigrant communities?) are now tasked with mass arrests, internments, and disappearances.

Moreover, through associating individuals and organizations with Al-Qaeda, the US government is in fact stealing the wealth and resources of immigrant communities and their organizations. The more informed readers are well aware that Al-Qaeda (and other religious Madrasahs or schools) were created by the CIA and the Pakistani Intelligence Services with the financial assistance of Saudis to provide ideological justification for the fight against the Soviets, and therefore, it is the Bush family with the closest ties to Al-Qaeda and not the immigrant communities that need to be investigated and scrutinized.

We, therefore, have had to expand our mission: support for democracy and social justice in Iran, defending the human rights of Iranian and other Middle Eastern communities in the US, supporting the restoration of democracy and personal liberties as well as social justice in the United States, speaking against the war and the US intervention in the Middle East and other parts of the world.
