Zhumur Ghosh
is currently working the areas of bioinformatics, i.e
tRNOmics-tRNA-AARS Interactions Study in an archaeal
genome and miRNomics. She hypothesized the possibility of fully overlapped tRNA genes exist in archaea and hence alternate splicing of
transfer-RNA genes. She has developed a computational method
for annotating microRNA genes in eukaryotes and viruses.
