| Mississippi The stars shine bright on Mississippi I look upon upon the shimmering moon light Upon the water, inside my eyes; I hear the distant vultures cries. I turn again only to find that you are gone, So far away that I can no longer see you, I feel so weak, when you are not here I look again, once more, and then... I see a figure so unclear Your eyes burn bright, your smile shines through, The colours of the river flow strong and wide, But the current won't stop my love From reaching the shore and my other half. I will come and stand by your side, I will take your hand in mine, Show you the way to be free, Just like the wild spirit inside of me. |

| Venus Have you ever seen a whirlpool of stars The Venus appear at night? Have you ever looked closely enough To notice its pondering might? They say she is a Goddess Perfect in every way What if I told you that she is a star Seen only at night from afar. She is only a Goddess of mythology, She cannot be alive! The planet is not a lady, It's definitely not a wife! How can this be? This cannot be apt! Well then come out at night, Look up, to the stars and see their light. |
