| Together We soar together over crystal-brushed waters, roam through foreign worlds, kiss under the moonlit reaches of the future and lie as one beneath the tender curtain of each perfect dusk. Keeping the beat with each slow breath, we wake in a silent, silken embrace, our only blankets the words we whisper, our only sheets the perfect touch of our love. Through life's twists and turns we stride, our hands entwined, into the heart of the darkest night, the ruby-lipped breath of the sweetest morning, and make what we see our own. |
Wrecked The way you cut me up and spat me out Leaves scars inside where brooding fluids burn, A shroud of bleeds too numerous to count, A flash of fire that flames at every turn. I think of what you used to mean to me and how the moments turned so swiftly sour. Your arms were once a place I'd die to be, But now their promise pales with each hour. I loved you more than words themselves express, I dreamt of futures with you at my side, There's nothing now to love - for as you left, The heart that drove me withered, faded, died. And all I have today is blasted hollow: A waking death - there can be no tommorrow. |
