GRAPHICS (10)
How
good are the graphics in CBF? Well, lets put it this way. I thought
CBF used the expansion pak for the detailed, cartoonish visuals (CBF doesn't use the expansion pak).
You could see Conker's facial expressions, Conker's shadow, to the water dripping from Conker's
body after a swim. The world is which Conker roams around is stunning and lively. Simply amazing graphics!
SOUND/MUSIC (9.3)
Believe it or not, CBF has a lot of voice dialogue. Everything that
each character in CBF says is spoken - literally. That blew me away
because I thought that a N64 cartridge couldn't hold all those voices.
In case you were wondering, there was great voice acting. Sound
effects are just as great.
The music CBF offers is pretty good. I particularly like the
"happy, joyful" music in which you'll hear right at the beginning of
the game. There were some, however, that were just...OK.
CONTROL (9.9)
CBF's control are responsive and user friendly. You can control
Conker's moves and actions with ease. The only thing that I
complained about CBF's controls was the fact that a player can not
"see through the eyes of Conker" or in other words go into first
person view mode. You can, however, look around freely but you would
still be in third person view.
CONCLUSION (9.8)
CBF turned out to be an excellent game for the dieing out N64. I believe
CBF is a game that only appears out "once in a blue moon" (it's a rare
game) and one in which SHOULD be in the hands of every N64 owner out there...in exception to the
young gamers. BUY IT! |
