Chad and Darryl actually had a pleasant childhood. Their fatherwas 51 years old when they were born, but he was (and still is) a very nice man, even if he is too old to go camping now. Their mother divorced their father when they were thirteen, but they stayed with their father because she didn't want custody. They don't mind. She was a horrible mother, more at ease with being their friend than their mother. They are friends with her, and generally treat her as such, which she encourages. She'd rather have them for friends than children. Occasionally though, she does show her mothering side, but usually only when one of them is in some sort of trouble. Their father was a well known and prosperous business man when he was younger, so they live in a huge house when they're not at school. They both love their father, and spend lots of time with him when they can. They're very close to each other, as their father believes that a family is the best thing a person can have, and a good family is the source of happiness. They believe him, when they're trying not to show how much the sentiment amuses them.
The twins are very intimate with each other, in more ways than just the sex.
Their father doesnt know that they sleep together, and they're not quite ready for him to find out, although they're sure his reaction wouldn't be too bad compared to some other parents. He'll probably end up trying to ignore it when he does find out, but until then, they're willing to keep it a secret.
