| was just that: the epitomy of rogues. I say rogues, for her character was not exactly "thieflike" the way the M.A.G.U.S RPGame takes a thief to be (ie, she didn't steal much). However, she experienced so many spiritual events that now she's also devoted herself to be a "Megtart�" (= Keeper; sort of like priests). Keepers usually pray to the Kalah�r�k (title; sort of like saints. The VERY few elves who have made it back into the favor of their lost god/ess Urria, who forsook them in his/her anger)... Zhentil, on the other hand does not believe this to be the way back to the Uskaya (Urria's tree, where the elves originate from. Urria = Uskaya). In her prays she calls out to Urria him/herself, and her cantations are filled with magic... thus somebody hears her. I'm not making any more promises on finishing the page... | Now a few words about the acquired friends... and enemies. Friends... What an unusual little term this is. Zhentil has come to call everyone not out to kill her one of her 'friends.' Let us stick to a narrower definition of friends, meaning the people she travels with or thinks about on a daily basis. At the moment (March 02, 2004), travelling with: - Allrion nan Narduin, priestess of the Falcon Lady, Arel. - Grinch (A freed aquir familiar... not too bright, but persistant and good intentionned. S/he is a small (100 cm) green-skinned bipedal creature with big, yellow-eyes that can blink vertically and horizontally aswell. He's got huge ears, and on every limb 3-3 fingers. Grinch wields a shortsword (stronger weapon than any of ours! +4!) and his main tactic is to teleport to the back of the enemy and cut in knee-height disabling the opponent. Ohyeah, s/he can teleport to wherever his eyesight can reach. Dislikes to kill. Very obedient. Has the *unintentionned!* capacity to pop up ...whenever he is not needed =-) thereby ruining love-scenes, etc. We love him (we call it a him) nonetheless. - Liaram We met Liaram on another plain. We were transported to the Plain of the Dead when we destroyed one of the main temples of Manunanga (a demongod) by pulling one of its pillars. It was a defense machenism. We landed there, but found a way onto YET ANOTHER plain, which we knew again nothing of. We found out that a demonlord named Wirras ruled it, thus the demons' name for it was the Plain of Wirras. Here, amongst demons we dare not dream of, our friends, Silchor and his comrades, were captured. We stumbled upon Wirgo, a weaker demon who Allrion made a contract with: he was to lead us into the Prison of Dementor (the local demonlord). He called upon one of his connections, Liaram, who turned out to be not a demon, after all, but a half-elf from the Third Age. - Niarnien Drow. Yes, a black-elf. Yes, the black-elf we conveniently label "aquir." (Aquir: ... it is a summarizing-name denoting OD-using species (OD is only found in ancient blood, and is needed to utter Power-Words... If he says "Perish" you not merely die, but fade out of OTHERS' memories too!) ... OD using species other than the ancient-elves. Mostly evil, the Aquirs fight amongst themselves for power and territory. Very few species roam in groups.. the" weaker" ones. The Drow are one of the strongest of Aquirs on the count of their physical agility combined with their bloods' OD). Niarnien was also met on the Plain of Wirras... He was living in the caverns under the Prison-caves of Dementor... where none really dare to descend. He, and 5 other Drows (of which 2 were females, stronger than the males) ruled the caverns constantly fighting for the females (and the females amongst themselves) wanting to kill the other, acquiring bigger territory... And we (Allrion and I) walked straight into that territory. At first he did not understand our confidence (we did not even recognize we were being followed)... thus he dared not attack until we were far into his caverns. There, he made his move when we reached an OPAL OF SONION (disables all magic --- VERY few of these!), that he was appointed to guard. We were lucky. The Opal of Sonion even affected his "Soulkiller", the common name of the Drow crossbow (filled with OD)... I did not die, merely passed out without all my FP-s (Pain-bearing Points of the mind)... Thankfully (??????) there is another being in my body. The sould of a witch of the Second (?) Age, who was imprisonned in a ring that I wear. She came to her senses in a tormented body and fury in her heart. Niarnien made the mistake of thinking that I was dead, and turned towards Allrion to kill her, and the Lady In My Head gave a fire-burst so huge, even he almost passed out. He turned back to face me, and Allrion managed to knock him unconscious with another spell. The witch then gave him the Kiss of Slavery, then did a "Mirror Character" spell, that made Niarnien's mind turn from (Chaos?)-Death to (Lawful? ... we can only guess)-Life. Thus, we have a Drow, who acts like a normal elf, and adheres to the laws. The laws we set out for him, as we dare not take him near civilized areas, for there is sure to be a wizard or priest who can detect the OD in his blood. He's a magnet. Only ONCE did he utter a PowerWord on the Surface, and the Inquisition of Pyarron (The Pantheon of Pyarron are the Gods of the people living on the surface) took 20 SECONDS to appear through a portal. :-( The worst thing is... he has Drow attributes: Beauty - 23 (gods are 25), Intelligence 24 ( average is 12), Dexterity 24 or 25... etc! No. That's NOT THE WORST. THIS IS: Since the witch in my head used MY BODY, he is in love with ME. His infatuation is unceasing, and borderless. He openly declared he'd die for me when Allrion asked (to test whether the Kiss of Slavery worked).... Drow would never indignify themselves this way. ITS HORRIBLE! Imagine your WORST enemy... loving you! I am OF ELVEN BLOOD. A half-elf! Yet still I loath all Aquirs as much as my ancestors. THIS IS TEARING AT MY EVERY NERVE! |
