3. What kind of eye sight do dogs have?
Dogs have black and white vision. They can't see colours.
4. Where can I take my dog to get him/her really tired?
I suggest taking your dog to a leash free zone. (your dog must be trained!) and letting him run around for a while. this is a great form of exercise for your pet aswell they interact with other dogs and make friends. It's also good for the owners! (you make friends too!)
5. How can I stop my dog from pulling on the leash?
You may not notice, but your dog may be acting this way becauce you are rewarding him. Even a nice tone may mean "good dog" in dog language. So whenever you dog is pulling, get a firm grip of the leash and turn and walk the other way.Your dog will not expect it and after a couple times reminding him, he'll learn.
6. Why do dogs have wet noses?
Dogs have wet noses because the only sweat glands that they have on their bodies are their pads of their feet and their noses. When they are hot, their nose gets wet and it is a form of cooling down.
7. Why do dogs urinate (pee) on trees (or other things)?
Dogs pee on trees and poles because they are marking their territory. By this, males are telling other males to "back-off" and telling females "come back agian".
