This summer I started life guarding again. I got a job with Hastings Water Works. They gave me the job of being an area manager. I got to manage three pools in town: Devonshire Meadows, Landings, and Edgewater Landings. My favorite pool was Devonshire Meadows, which is in Avon. It's a nice small pool with lots of great residents.

My favorite resident was Delores. She was always there to bring me dinner or coffee in the morning. I have since become very close to her. I got along with the residents very well. There were always some people at the pool daily. Rich was one of those people. Rich was just a fun guy to have at the pool. He would always splash and push each other in.

The Landings was a fun to work at too. I taught swim lessons there and got to know a lot of the kids that swam there. Landings was a pool that was always busy. I worked mostly between Devonshire and the Landings pools.

I was not fond of Edgewater because it was a very run down pool. I am not even going to go in depth about it.

I had a lot of fun this summer and hope to do it again next summer. I love all of my guards who made the summer go by so much easier. Without them I don't know where I would have been.
