My 23rd birthday party was held at Chances. It was the normal Thursday night karaoke but with all of my friends there. I had friends drive all the way from Akron for my party. Some of them I hadn't seen in months. I decided to be silly and dress like a school girl. I had on the plaid skirt and knee high socks. I looked cute.

Joey, my best friend, drove from Akron for my party. He is always fun to hang out with and to see. Brad, who I used to date back at Cedar Point, came from Massillon. He was being very silly that night. (He is the one with his head in my lap).

My normal bar crowd of friends were there and a few others. I have to admit I did get pretty drunk. I had about 6-9 shots of Blackhouse. That's my favorite shot. Luckily I had pizza to eat otherwise I would have been really out of it. I was going around kissing everyone. All because I had on bright red lipstick. So I had to leave my mark on everyone! I know you will see a purple monkey on me and that was Doug's. I just was wearing it. It was a cute little monkey.

The best part of my party was that I taped everyone singing. I am still trying to dub the tape. I think the best thing at my party was everyone singing the Beatles "Birthday" song and Doug, my best friend, reciting the poem he wrote for me. Those 2 things meant a lot to me. I will always have them forever.

I cannot wait until next year for my party. I will probably still have it at the bar, but it will be better than before.
