| Play the music, that sweet, sweet melody which brings tears to my heart. A soft breeze rustles the fading leaves, and though the window is shut, I feel it gliding through my soul as I listen to the music. I glance into the parking lot, and the appirition of us dancing, gliding across the yellow lines, is empty, and I can see through it. The asphault overcomes us while I hear the music. It stopped.... My eyes refocus and now the small nylon squares of the window screen my past, and the teacher's voice crescendos back into my thoughts. The sound of fifty students and the lonely voice of Autumn is the only music I hear. By: Dawn |
