6.2 Deep Sea: Nullify Threat



This level is fairly hard at the beginning, especially when you are going for speed. Activate IR Scanner and go up to the 2nd door. Wait for Elvis to catch up with you here and then open it and let him take out some of the guards here, while you can just shoot a couple. When this bit is done, you go through the next 2 doors. I have developed a successful way of doing this room. At first, aim a double blast near the heads of the guards who cross over in front of you, then use double blasts aimed with R at the heads of each of the other cloaked shotgun guards. They should all die easily, and you can turn off IR and witch gun to falcon 2 scope or keep on the shotgun. I prefer scope because the next four guards can be sniped off with it. After these four, there is the first of the three locked doors. Hopefully you have collected all the cmp ammo, if so equip it, shoot the light and spin round ready to shoot any here. If not, just use something else. There are another six guards in the section between the first door and the teleportal room, and their positioning is random. It may be better to let Elvis take them out for you, although this is very slow. In the teleportal, I use double blast shotgun on all thre guards, although it is easier to use up cmp ammo on them, I prefer to save that for later. When this is done and Elvis arrives, run as fast as you can for the first teleportal. Go through and take out shotgun again on double blast. Open the door and at least injure all three of the patrolling guards in this room as you run at maximum speed for the second teleportal. Go through the next two doors, and shoot the patrolling guard and the one next to the teleportal to injure them so they don't hurt you. After this teleportal, there is an easy and foolproof way to win. Go up to the next door, take out the farsight and use the target locator to take out every single little skedar and the machine so that you can just run to the teleportal, remembering to take out all the stupid light things that unlock the doors and the auto guns. After the third and final teleportal, equip cmp and open the door, shooting at the two blondes. Hopefully you will kill them, because if not they will murder you. Do Dr. Carrol with the backup disk and then just run to the end. Note: you will always get hit at least once by the cloaked guards with cmp's in my opinion, so just make sure your health is not in the red and you should survive easily. The time you should achieve with this simple strat would be almost fast enough to earn the cheat: farsight.
