In-Class Notes: Chaneya's discussion of "The Mismeasurement of Man" by Stephen Hay Gould (Talks about how people associate science with the development of humans. Gould believes that the way you are brought up and the way you act is based on your surroundings, not on scientific aspects. Science is based on partly facts, it's mostly social preference. Many people believe that women will never be intelligent. Scientist George Elliot says that if women believe everything that man says, they will never mount to anything. Chaneya likes this story becauseit gave her a different view on science and human development.)
