Tibet sits on the world's highest (13,000 ft/4000m)and widest (850,000mi/2,200,000 km)plateau above the Himalayan Mountain Range, in Sanskrit this means "abode of snow", and below the Kunlun and Karakoram Mountains.
Mount Everest is in the Himalayan Mountains and can be seen in Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan.
