  This is my review on
Silent Hill 4: The Room. Story takes place in  an American apartment. The main character lived in Silent Hill happily before until recurring nightmares kept occuring. Strange things kept happening after these dreams came up. He found himself isolated from the outside world. He couldnt get out've his own home. His door was chained from the inside mysteriously. The windows were all jammed. The phone, tv and clock doesn't work. One day, a hole suddenly appeared in his bathroom.Hoping that its a way to escape his house, he crawls through the hole, and his mysterious and creepy journey starts from there...

Graphics: The graphics really ruled in the game. The house, the environment the gore..it was all there. Special effects to give the game a cinematic and artificial feel were all working perfectly. You could actually feel yourself as the main character. Camera angles were fine. 4.5/5

Sound: I was REALLY impressed with the sound. I thought scary game sounds just consisted of shitty zombie groans and the main character screaming as he dies.. man was I wrong.  There's a few BRILLIANT soundtracks that fit in perfectly with this creepy game. Try downloading "Room of Angel" from the game.  5/5

Creepiness: Step aside Resident Evil, cause Silent Hill is the scariest game out so far. Who the heck is afriad of zombies that move at the speed of a crippled elderly who groans and has flakey skin? That's what zombies from Resident Evil look like. Silent Hill is alot more creepier. The zombies/ghosts are fast, and they are evil. The bastards dont die, no matter how long you keep whacking at them with your steel pipe. I spent 5 minutes whacking a zombie on the floor with my steel pipe. 4 minutes after, ust when i thought it died, it got up and started biting my arse. Now THATS scary. Losing the zombie dogs might be a good idea though. 4/5

Originality: Not much has changed since Silent Hill one.I still feel that this game is heavily inspired by Resident Evil.( hint: the dogs and usage of zombies ). Efforts have clearly been made though. The zombies are actually scary in their movement, and theres the inclusion of the 1st person perspective. 2.5/5

Story: I'm sorry. The story kinda sucks. The guy can't escape from his own house. So he goes through a hole that suddenly appeared on the wall. Im controlling a retart who can't smash jammed windows and call for help. If he cant get outve the house, where does his food come from? How does he keep himself fed? It's kind of stupid. Guess Konami ran out of ideas. 1/5

Control: Same old boring controls. Movment is smooth at least. And I actually feel like im smashing zombie heads with my steel pipe with the vibrations.Could improve though. Feels so Resident Evil to me. 1.5/5

Overall:  The creepiest game out there at the moment. If you ignore reality and play it in Konami's perspective, its a good game. I might go as far as saying its a great game. Who doesnt like whacking at a zombie's head and stamping on its decaying penis for 2 hours? No one in their right mind I would answer that they dont enjoy it. I lost around 2 hours sleep on this game due to the horror of it. Imagining my room's walls covered with blood and rust kind've made me feel bad. Most of the game was played while my sister covered her eyes and watched at the same time.( I dont know how that works) Overall, pretty good for a scary game.
