| i know this is supposed to be one of the "greatest movies ever" or something, and that stanley kubrick is a "genius", but i dont know, i hated this movie i can see how some parts of it are loosely tied together, but the "plot" or at least what i figured to be the plot, could have been conveyed just as strongly in about 45 minutes to an hour, and maybe i wouldnt have complained as much about having to watch it and the whole ending with that guy growing old and...i dont know...i just, i didnt like it im glad i had already seen the shining, full metal jacket, clockwork orange, and even dr strangelove before i watched 2001, because im not so sure i would have even given those movies a chance after seeing this one and those movies are by no means "not strange", but at least i would consider them "good" i would love to hear from someone who actually likes this movie and maybe you could tell me why, or where you get your black tar herione that you use when you watch it so maybe i could get me some of that too... |
