ColorGuard 1996-1999
In 1996 of our first year, 10 of the top males, and 10 of the top females of the top battalion in southern california. We became known as ColorGuard... which would win back our rightful trophies. The legacy that had skipped a generation had returned, and we were the team that brought back the pride to our school and our predecessors. Maria Alejandrino (FCMDR), Edward Locso (MCMDR), Josephine Nonog (FSabre), James Edralin (MSabre), Jeanelle Ablola (RG), Jason Dalisay (RG), Bernalyn Sarsoza (Orgi), Sherwin Alejandrino (Orgi), Melissa Obtera(LG), Nomer Atangan (LG), Kristin Landingin, Allan Posadas, Sherrie Del Rosario, Jordan Ordonio, Lerane Santos, Ryan Legaspi, Gerard Cabatit, Veronica Abella, Jenny Pinner, Eric Macabitas. Although the team was filtered throughout the years, the memories, bruises, bonds, and instilled disciplines will remain with each of us forever. December 13, 1997. Our greatest accomplishment as a group. The glory, tears, blood, sweat, and time was worth the effort, and the feeling of victory on that day, as well as the pride our predecessors had in us is immeasurable. WE brought those trophies home. WE brought the pride back to our school. WE were the best. WE ARE THE BEST. Not one team has ever performed better than we did while in our prime. NO ONE. Not our predecessors, not our children, not the teams that placed over us in any other competition. In our prime, we are the best. Because we had what no other team had. We had each other, the skills, the motivation, and the discipline. The pride and glory instilled will remain for a lifetime.
