The Messiah

Psalms 22-24 is about the suffering, the ministry, and the triumphal entry of the Messiah, almost a thousand years before the events happen. Jesus is the one who endures the suffering of Psalm 22, the Good Shepherd of Psalm 23, and the King of glory of Psalm 24. He also is the only one who meets the requirements listed in Psalm 24 for entering into God's presence, and His sacrifice makes that possible for all of us.

Coincidentally, today is Good Friday, an appropriate time to remember all of these things about Jesus as we remember His crucifixion. Praise be to God for sending His Son to die in our place, and cleanse us of our sins!
